HVERFA EXHIBITION OPENING - SÍM GALLERY, REYKJAVÍK

My solo exhibition, HVERFA, will be showing from 18:00 this Tuesday, 30 May. All welcome!

Produced over a two-month period, Hverfa examines Iceland's Solheimajökull glacier; a glacier on the brink of complete disappearance. Hverfa is a project that seeks to detail the singularity, transience and fragility of the natural world; a world with which man's relationship is riddled with tension. In engaging various modes of representation, namely photography and drawing, Hverfa seeks to capture Solheimajökull’s monumental, yet deeply seductive forms in a manner that blurs the boundaries that exist between naturalism and abstraction.
